Join the community 1. Scope and operator
This policy applies to the Lubricant Specialists mobile app for iPhone and iPad, bundle identifier com.lubricantspecialists.intelligence. The app is operated by Bhupinder Singh through The Lubricant Specialists, an independent professional information and community platform based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Privacy enquiries may be sent to contact@lubricantspecialists.com. The separate website privacy policy applies when you use lubricantspecialists.com.
2. First-release data practices
The first release does not require an account, process payments, display advertising, integrate a third-party analytics or advertising software development kit, or track users across apps or websites. It does not request access to contacts, location, camera, photos, microphone, health information or payment information. Base-oil Groups I to V educational material is included in the app.
3. Newsletter feed and network processing
When the Newsletter screen loads or is refreshed, the app requests https://lubricantspecialists.com/feed.xml over HTTPS using Apple's networking framework. The response contains published article titles, summaries, authors, dates and links. The app does not intentionally add an account identifier, advertising identifier or user profile to that request.
Internet infrastructure and the website's hosting and security provider necessarily process the IP address and basic request information needed to deliver and protect the service. Limited security or diagnostic logs may be retained under the provider's operational practices.
4. Local storage and caching
iOS may cache newsletter-feed content and revalidation information on the device. This supports efficient loading and does not create an LS account, advertising profile or reading-history service. The operating system manages this cache, and removing the app removes its app-specific local data.
5. Enquiries and support
The app does not collect contact information through an in-app form. Its Enquiry and Support actions open the Lubricant Specialists website, email or WhatsApp. Information you choose to provide through those services is handled under the applicable website and third-party privacy terms.
Support correspondence received by The Lubricant Specialists is normally reviewed for deletion after 24 months unless an active matter, dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention.
6. External links
Article, API-document, magazine, support and website links open services outside the app. Those services operate under their own privacy practices.
7. Sharing and tracking
The Lubricant Specialists does not sell personal information collected through the app and does not use app data for cross-company tracking or advertising. Website hosting and security providers process the network traffic required to deliver the verified feed.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information held by The Lubricant Specialists, or object to or restrict certain processing. Send requests to contact@lubricantspecialists.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Security and policy changes
Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. This policy will be updated, and the effective date revised, before a material change to the app's data practices is released.
