2. Re-refining process and RRBO output

  • The mass balance is: ULO received = listed contamination + residues and non-recovered process outputs + RRBO output + other recovered outputs + unaccounted mass.
  • Recovery indicators are screening ratios. They are not a declaration of regulatory conversion efficiency.
  • Finished-product incorporation is a mass ratio. It does not demonstrate formulation suitability, finished-oil performance or specification compliance.
  • Lifecycle or carbon claims require a separately defined system boundary, allocation method, primary data and review.

Screening use only. The output does not certify chain of custody, RRBO quality, finished-lubricant performance, legal compliance, lifecycle benefit or an environmental claim.

What the calculator does.

  1. Declare one system boundary, reporting period and unit before entering quantities.
  2. Classify every input as measured, documented, an illustrative estimate or not provided.
  3. Reconcile ULO input, separated contamination, process residues, RRBO, other recovered outputs and unexplained mass without hiding a balance gap.
  4. Assess finished-product RRBO incorporation separately from re-refinery yield.
